RENOVATION OF OLD GMC COMPLEX(ERSTWHILE MAQUINEZ PALACE)

 The backdrop for many IFFIs and bollywood movie sets alike,this historical building,first created as a summer palace,on the banks of the Mandovi for important Portuguese aristrocrats,the Maquinezes..has undergone several adaptive re use modifications.
It served as the old GoaMedical College campus in the later half of the 20th Century and later,prior to the first International Film Festival  that was held in Goa,was transformed through much painstaking thought and labour,to its erstwhile glory.
